Unlike a typical sleep aid, however, our CBD generally does not cause drowsiness after using. No. CBD is not intoxicating. While Greenman CBD products are full spectrum, meaning they do contain the intoxicating compound found in cannabis known as THC, this compound is concentrated at a rate less than 0.3% in our products. At this rate, you will not experience intoxication, but very well may benefit from its presence even at the low concentration level. 

We often hear of relaxing effects and its ability to “take the edge off” similar to a glass of wine (without the intoxication). Some users claim to feel CBD whereas others may not feel anything at all, even if improvement is noticeable. Habitual CBD users regularly claim to not consciously feel anything while using, they then stop taking it for a week and experience the aches, pains, stresses, etc. and are reminded of its effectiveness.

Full spectrum hemp extract contains the plant's natural compounds including cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. CBD works together with these phytocompounds, expanding their overall ability to bind to receptors and breakdown harmful enzymes within the body. By itself, CBD is not as effective as it does not have its natural counterparts to work together synergistically.
